"Beds are comfortable and there are tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water. Car parking is easy. They provide a fan which was useful as the traffic is a bit noisy to have the window open. Curtains are very thin so the room is light from early morning. They don’t offer a cooked breakfast on Wednesday or Thursday mornings but there is a continental choice of toast, pastries, cereal and yoghurt. "Lovely spacious family room with fantastic cooked breakfast choices served in the bedroom. Great shower power. Comfortable bed. Kind and welcoming owner. Some road noise but that wasn't a problem for us and to be expected right next to the A30 which was perfect for visiting the beautiful Devon countryside and coastline right on the doorstep. Very happy with our stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Durham House Hotel. Communication was great from the moment it was booked to the arrival day. The hotel is a short walk from the beach, car park, places to eat and drink. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with large soft towels provided. Lovely choice for breakfast, good quality food and nicely cooked."

"Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended."

"What an absolute find this B&B is, Lisa & Dean are really warm, and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, fantastic breakfasts and evening meals, a lot of little extra touches that make a big difference, like fresh milk for your room and big bath towels ! Really comfortable beds, lovely linen, topped off with a sea view. We’ve stayed in places all over the world, and this one left us smiling and working out when we can go back. Forgot to mention the homemade flapjacks in our room 😁"
