"We've been in England for 16 days and stayed at 9 Hotels/BB's. Silverton Inn by far wins for the best bedding ever. We've stayed from budget to Castle Luxury. I never knew what I was missing. The room was large, exceptionally immaculate, decorated perfectly, (not dated) staff was extremely friendly. The Bar / Restaurant was really fun with locals and very good food and reasonably priced. "What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. The owners were very friendly and made me feel most welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. You would never go hungry. The air conditioning was a real bonus, although unfortunately it did drip a little water on the floor. My only other niggles...

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower.
