"We stayed two weeks here, making this spot our hub for our sightseeing outings around south of England. The room we had was spacious overlooking a very large garden creating a sense of being at "home" rather than feeling trapped in a hotel. Staff lives on the ground and are very helpful. Ample parking space so easy parking for larger SUVs. There are supermarkets close by, so there is an easy supply of fresh fruits and vegetable during our stay. Nice pubs nearby. Close enough to walk and get on...

"We stayed in The Bothy, fabulous for a romantic night away. No noise from the neighbours but while the bath was lovely it wasn’t practical having it in the bedroom. The room does have a smell of damp and there is no ventilation other than opening windows - a quiet extractor fan in both the bedroom and toilet would be a welcome addition. For a romantic night away this is a great location but 4 nights it was too much. "

"There was mix up with our room. Got cancelled without us knowing. Phoned to try and cancel but we were told we couldn't get a refund if we did even though it was within the time limit of cancellation. We obviously didn't cancel and rocked up to find the room that they allocated to us was occupied and we needed another room. Luckily there was one available but we had to pay at the time.
