"I had an amazing stay at Bekkan Fujiya Ryokan! The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The baths were absolutely relaxing and beautifully maintained—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I also loved that they are tattoo-friendly, making it easy to enjoy the onsen without worry. Everything about this ryokan, from the service to the atmosphere, exceeded my expectations. "We had a room with half board and enjoyed the 24 hr Natural hot spring within the hotel. Free shuttle to the bus station after check out was helpful as it snowed the night before "

"Great location if you are planning on skiing. Cosy little hotel, alittle tired, but clean. Staff very hospitable, and pleasant,only to keen to try and help .Not a lot of English. Service was great.They pick up and drop off as required, this made it much easier to get around. Could rent skis from there, as well as pay for lift pass. Could also purchase other day tours from there. Breakfast was great."

"About 10-15 minutes from Iizaka Onsen station. The hotel is situated uphill & is a traditional construction w/spacious parking area. Check-in is easy & short, & staff is friendly & polite. Our room has mountain view & can hear water running downstream when window open. Quite serene! Our meal plan included breakfast & dinner (half board). "the stay came with breakfast and dinner every day. and really good breakfast and dinner too. breakfast was paired with tea service on the way to the dining area. dinner was paired with free chocolate and sparkling wine. the hot springs were amazing. private onsen available too. friendly staff. surprisingly easy to get to."
