"One of our favorite hotels in Portugal. Amazing staff, extremely clean, great spa, 2 pools, outdoor pool bar and everyone is super friendly. Decent breakfast although it was better a few years ago. Always a pleasant stay. "

"The building is older but the rooms are updated and very nice, very comfortable bed and big walk in shower. The indoor pool and sauna are a big plus for me! You can walk all around the old town from here, which is really charming."

"Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too. "
