"Whilst my room was small, it had all I needed. The highlight was the staff: reception and bar/restaurant staff were excellent. Polite, attentive, efficient. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice. The restaurant menu for dinner was ok but sometimes a wider simpler choice would have been nice."

"The room was clean and large. There was an odd smell that bothered us, likely new paint or carpeting that had not been sufficiently aired out. There was no offer of assistance to lug our suitcases up two flights of stairs. We were not the only guest to struggle with this. Breakfast was good and the wait staff were friendly and efficient. Location was excellent for getting into the main part of town. Parking was not ideal - in a nearby lot. It would be nice if the hotel arranged specific parking...

New owners have taken over hotel just over 2 mths ago and we found them to be very friendly, welcoming and hard working. In fact, encounters with the staff from bartender, restaurant and housekeeping were all friendly, engaging, and positive.
