"The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and great shower. It was very plain white with minimal decoration. No air conditioning, but a good floor fan that kept us sufficiently comfortable. You are given a security code for self check in and the rooms are up a staircase to the second floor. You can hear other people open and close their doors but no one bothered us. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants -- middle Eastern, Chinese, Turkish, Gelato-- and convenient shops and buses nearby. Lots...

"It was a perfect stay for 3nights in Aldbury. The village is so quaint and the people so friendly. Our room was lovely but the metal stairs up outside from the main pub were steep and when coming down them, I often scraped the back of my heels. This was because there was safety surface applied to stop you slipping. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent."
