"Nice relaxing stay, if booking through 3rd party be careful of room designation offered we nearly fell foul of that as originally not as shown on booking and upon confirming with hotel found an error as hotel had put us in room 1/2 size at highest point in hotel best to book direct imo. For disabled requirements a bit misleading as there are none. Staff helpful and some EV charging available not shown on website."

"The property itself is stunning,its oldy meets new loved it so beautiful,staff are amazing,especially the young girl who took our dinner order,she was so polite and lovely,I didn't get her name. Morning breakfast full breaky not a fan,should have stuck to the scrambled egg which hubby had and really enjoyed,the young lad Josh was so nice very friendly and funny.😁would definitely recommend this beautiful castle(hotel)to anyone whose thinking of booking."

"A nice place. A bit worn but solid and clean. No hair conditioner so bring your own! You had to make a reservation for the breakfast buffet and if not you have to walk 5 minutes to get a coffee and muffin in the pool cafe. Overall fine"

"The staff were friendly. The hotel was absolutely bare bones, not even a picture on the wall. It felt like a cell. It was loud in the reception and with cigarette and weed smoke all around the entrance door from the people congregating there."

"Wonderful location with parking available for a fee. Beautiful apartment with plenty of space. The property is air conditioned and has an elevator, so you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom and living area were very spacious. It was a very relaxing stay. Stirling was a lovely city to explore."

"Had a very comfortable stay at Smiddy Haugh. Very clean and comfortable room with nice toiletries in bathroom. Owners were very welcoming and made us aware of all relevant information, I.e. heating, dining, check out, car parking. We had a delicious breakfast and would certainly recommend and visit again."

"Great upgraded older hotel by Best Western. Only stayed one night on way to leaving from Edinburgh airport. Easy 22 minute trip in “rush hour” to drop off car. Buy gas in Dunfermline and save $$$ over buying in Edinburgh."

"First the pluses for the price point it’s a good value near the airport, parking readily available very convenient to a gas station and not too far away from Dave’s kitchen where you can get amazing bites to eat on the go. And one of the most important things, the sheets are clean, unstained and blanket nice and cozy. Now the bathroom needs refurbishment. The carpet are stained. Everything else is a little bit worn for where I’ve seen better years."
