The receptionist was very welcoming and informative, pointing us in the right direction for taxis. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed wasn't the most comfortable ever, but we were informed the Hotel is in the process of replacing mattresses. The Restaurant staff and Housekeeping were very friendly, approachable and helpful.

A very nice hotel, central for Doncaster. Very friendly and professional staff, the rooms are big and clean with freshly changed towels etc (not something you get often these days) and it’s just very stylish with its Art Deco them and history.

The ground floor bar and restaurant was well decorated. We looked at the 2nd floor suites which are very art deco in their execution but very glitzy. Room could do with a refurb but everything you could need was there. The best part of the stay though was the restaurant food. We were assured it was all freshly cooked and it was excellent. We had Dinner and Breakfast and both were great as was the service for both meals.

Great Hotel use the Hotel every visit to Doncaster

The room was ready on arrival, they gave us an upgrade (our party had 3 rooms, they upgraded all 3 rooms) The staff are very friendly it was a great stay.

Look no further

You have many options when looking in Doncaster but looks no further I stay on a regular bases for a night and the staff are great so is the food and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Basic room in a good location

The entrance of the hotel and its 1920s glamour ends at the entrance. The room was tired, sockets and lamps didnt work, tiles were chipped in the bathroom. The feathers on the lamp were hanging off. The carpet was in need of some tlc and the bathroom towel heater didnt work either. The staff were friendly but for me the money is spent in the wrong places here, printed napkins and fancy biscuits and Jams, and white company products and forgotten the basics of a beautiful room and good food. The best bit about the hotel was its location to the Doncaster centre and race track.
