"Was an issue, but I couldn't define adequately the reason. During the booking, I don't remember to have the option to change the age of my kid. I came early and alone to do the check in and receive the key. When we arrive late in the night, the booking was done for under 1 year old (she is 11) so just one bed was in the bedroom. They offer option to resolve and that's a good point, but the error could be in the website, or the hotel options. But definitively, the location was great to visit...

"Beautiful location nestled between Tremezzo and Lenno. Our balcony view was spectacular as was the service and food. The staff was very helpful and efficient. We felt it was a good value as contrasted with neighboring hotels."

"The USP of this property is the amazing view down to Lago di Lugano across into Switzerland. There is also the interesting story about the old funicular railway to the rear of the hotel which closed in 1977 but may be refurbished and reinstated if funds can be secured. It is a rural location, about 20 mins walk from the nearby town of Lanzo d'Intelvi and the bus service from Como drops you about 400m from the hotel reception if you aren't driving. I stayed here for almost a week in July 2025, as my wedding took place down the block, at Villa Monastero. The front desk and concierge were so helpful (Nipa and Marco) during my stay.
