"After a long flight . It was good to just rock up outside arrivals and get into the Bloc hotel. I was knackered and needed a sleep. Perfect basic hotel leaving or returning to Gatwick airport"

"Stopped over the night before an early departure. Good value and close to the terminal plus I had an upgrade to execute suite.. bonus! Not many options in the restaurant for veggies which was disappointing plus the access to the main terminal wasn’t clearly sign posted."

"Parking felt safe, covered by cctv. Staff were very welcoming and accomodating. Room was spacious and clean....carpet was the cleanest i've seen in a hotel room. Room had central heating, in room fridge, and hair dryer. Plenty of storage options and portable clothes rail. Staying here felt like home. Can hear flights taking off from gatwick... runway is across the road and you can see the tails of planes... but you soon filter it out. Overall, id recommend staying here"

"Very friendly and helpful staff - they even made quick arrangements to send a bag I’d forgotten to me at the airport, in a taxi. Room was clean and nice enough, and the bed setup was fabulous (we got the family room, with king size for my husband and me and single + trundle for the kids, which meant no fighting while they slept. Wish more hotel rooms had this setup!). Pool quite nice. Food was a bit meh (and dinner and drinks very American, which was a bit sad for our final meal in the UK before...

"Comfortable, clean and good sized room for a brilliant price. WiFi was good, tea and coffee in the room and nice bathroom. The hotel was great with check in as we didn’t arrive until nearly 1am, would recommend letting them know in advance so you know their policy. Staff were really friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel"
