"Firstly, I’ve traveled extensively and never complained about a hotel but this have one was really bad.
Hotel staff at front desk unwelcoming and rude. Shockingly poor experience compared with all the other hotels we stayed at in Italy.

Hotel location is excellent; ferry right next to hotel and restaurants and Ice Cream shops just a few minutes walk.

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The understated quality was evident from the moment we checked in when we were invited to the garden for a glass of wine whilst the check-in paperwork was done and our bags taken to the room. The happy hour, the helpful staff and the breakfast were superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be within walking distance of the beach tourist sites but still have a sort of oasis to which to retreat."

"Very hot water and large fluffy towels. Excellent bathroom facilities. Comfortable large bed. Hotel had character with pictures and artefacts and was generally a peaceful environment.
Staff generally pleasant and helpful.
Only had one breakfast which was fine.
Air conditioning is not switched on until the "summer" but it was very warm during our stay and it would have improved our sleep experience if the room had been cooler. Unfortunately the bar was not open which could have been useful.
