"This hotel which oozed character was an excellent find. Close to St Marks Square but situated in a quiet corner of Venice. The staff were all helpful and polite and great at answering all our questions. Breakfasts offered a wide selection of foods and although we never ate our dinner in the hotel it always was busy. Best part was sitting relaxing by the canal in the reception area sipping a cool glass of beer or aperol spritz! I would highly recommend this small hotel."

"I got locked inside the bathroom due to a faulty door that triggered a faulty lock. It was past midnight and they did not have reception. It was a HORRIBLE anxiety-provoking experience that ruined my trip and the ONLY response from the manager at check-out was a lame apology. I will NEVER stay here again and strongly discourage anyone from booking this hotel!"

"Loved the location and very easy walk to water transport and sightseeing. It was lovely in the evenings after crowds left to walk and enjoy the square. The building felt very historic and well done. I appreciated the no stairs to the room although the bathtub was challenging for me to maneuver.
