"This hotel which oozed character was an excellent find. Close to St Marks Square but situated in a quiet corner of Venice. The staff were all helpful and polite and great at answering all our questions. Breakfasts offered a wide selection of foods and although we never ate our dinner in the hotel it always was busy. Best part was sitting relaxing by the canal in the reception area sipping a cool glass of beer or aperol spritz! I would highly recommend this small hotel."

"We stayed here before we took the train to Ravenna to catch a cruise. The hotel is bery close to the Zatterre water bus station, which meant a very easy and quick walk to the hotel, and quick access back to the Venice Train station. Hotel was clean for its age, very quiet, and the aircon worked well. Breakfast service but we did not take us of that. A few restaurants and cafes nearby. Lots of stairs though, as typical for many older hotels. Would stay here again."

"Loved the location and very easy walk to water transport and sightseeing. It was lovely in the evenings after crowds left to walk and enjoy the square. The building felt very historic and well done.
