"Beautiful grounds, great staff, lovely room and bath. Great stay. Thank you!"

"I spent three days in Fez solo before meeting friends in Marrakech. The warmth I felt staying in Alexandre and Yasmine's Riad Le Calife was incredible. They are wonderful hosts; you feel like a guest in their home as you explore the city. They offered great insight on how best to explore Fez and the surrounding area, and also secured top-notch tour guides and pick-up services from the train station and airport. Furthermore, that warmth extended to the whole staff, who were all incredibly kind...

"An absolutely beautiful property with incredible character and incredibly friendly and caring staff. Don't rely on GoogleMaps directions in Fes. It may put you on wrong streets to get here or to some of the other attractions in the area. This is definitely NOT a reason to stay some place else, once you get there you will be glad you took the extra time."

"Outstanding hotel. Rooms are great. Bar and restaurant top level. Nothing to complaint"

"The staff is AMAZING"

"The stuff very helpful and friendly did everything we asked of them even our laundry"

"A charming and well run Riad on the outskirts of the Medina. The room was comfortable with incredible views. The location was very convenient for exploring the Medina and the staff were lovely and welcoming. The food served in their restaurant was delicious and they have the best harira soup in town! I would definitely recommend this Riad and would stay here again."

"Mohammed and his family couldn’t be nicer. The road itself is whimsical and atmospheric"

"Magical place. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended."

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Staff were so helpful and kind Beautiful room Breakfast was YUMMY. But: Four stars because at no point in our correspondence did they inform me they are CASH ONLY. This policy exceptionally rare for lodging. As a visitor and solo woman traveller, I was uncomfortable maxing out ATM withdrawals on busy, narrow streets and spending extra on transaction fees, so they can save on fees and taxes. THEN having to walk around with wads of cash. All during my limited...

"Just spent 4 days in this Riad. 2-story room (orange) was amazing. Wonderful staff everywhere— hated to leave and kept delaying our train to spend more time. "

"Location was good, right in the middle of the medina, but can be tricky to navigate too with people trying to “help” but always asking for money. Room was decent but had a lingering smell of urine and although door secured, a very large crack between the doors that anyone can see right into your room. Staff offered help & recommendations but seemed all they wanted was tips as well."
