This place was awesome!!
Great central location, close to Bab Eljuloud ( blue door).
The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and spacious and the hammam and massage was excellent.
The entire experience was authentically Moroccan and absolutely amazing.
Beautiful Riad with palace like details and feel in the center courtyard, nice hospitality and staff. Cant beat this Riad in value and location as well. Go for it.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They treated us like a family. They greeted us with tea and delicious cookies. The information they provided to us made our trip easy. Their room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient. The breakfast was awesome. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to whoever visits Fes.
The staff was very helpful and the breakfasts were huge and delicious, The central dining area is stunning. The bedroom was okay but appropriate for the nightly cost
Ryad Alya is a beautiful classic property with a fantastic view of Fes from its rooftop terrace. Our room was huge and comfortable for our family of 3 adults. Close to the Souk and the Blue Gate. Great breakfast on the terrace. Highly recommend.
I am happy with my stay , I was really looking for a traditional Moroccan place to stay and Ryad Alya did not disappoint. The architecture is very traditional and I can feel the local tradition in my stay. They also served the best traditional Moroccan breakfast and Idris was so nice to wait for me for my late check in and also for providing me good breakfast himself. I recommend this place in your next trip and they also have a transfer from the airport or from the train to this place.
The property reminds me of the old centuries with all its charms and culture maintained. The indoor architecture and wall are stunning! The ffod was very good as well. Very warm with welcoming staff!
Ryad Alya was beyond beautiful. Our check in was handled by Houssen and I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was. He helped get our train tickets for the following day. He made sure we were happy and content with our beautiful upgraded room. He should be given every opportunity to advance in this profession. Houssen could teach a class on customer service!!
Its a clean and nicely located Ryad, just that the smaller room we stayed in was not something we were expecting , but this wasnt their problem, rather mine in choosing
Beautiful Riad. We stayed as a family of four in the Fez Suite, which was luxurious. Service was excellent and breakfast delicious. Location close to Medina was convenient, yet also completely quiet inside. The only hiccough was the failure of the Riad’s driver to pick us up for our ride to the station at the end of our stay, who had otherwise been excellent on arrival. Thankfully it was easy to find a taxi just round the corner! But overall highly recommended. Thank you!
What an amazing Riad. From helping my taxi driver find the riad to an easy check-in and then a stunning room. thank you to all of the staff for making my stay so fantastic.

DARK. Our room was dark with only a small window to the exterior and poor interior lighting. The bathroom was also dark with poor lighting. The alleyway leading to the Riad has no lighting, we arrived at night and the alley was pitch black. We used the lights on our phones to help us find our way.
The breakfast area was pretty and the breakfast was lovely. The staff was friendly, but could be pushy. I also did not like the spa services.
Amazing place. Highlight of our Morocco trip. Even though all Moroccan hotels label themselves as riad, they are actually dars (lacking a tree or courtyad garden). This is a true riad featuring a sky high orange tree and a fountain right in the middle of courtyard. The whole place was beautifully decorated and each room was personalized.
The hosts were the nicest. They made sure to put a crib in the room, even though I forgot to ask. They bent over backwards to meet our every request. The breakfast was amazing and their lunch was one of our best meals in Morocco. Their in-hotel hamam and massage service was also extremely reasonably priced and great. Overall, it's a gem of place and you won't regret staying here.
