"The room was not cleaned well. There was a bow tie found in the corner of the room so you know the floor is not being completely vacuumed. Hair in the tub and bathroom counter. Checking in was very difficult and delayed. Despite having reservations and checking in, it took over 30 minutes to get a key made after I had given my reservation partly due to a new system limitation. Understandably there was only one person at the desk and multiple parties awaiting their needs. The tasks IMO...

"The hotel staff friendly and helpful. The hallways and lobby clean and beautifully decorated and scented. The beds very comfy. The pillows soft. The bathrooms clean and stocked with some toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Along with two fluffy robes and towels. The complimentary breakfast with our stay was served in the Lower Level; was hot, tasty, and filling. Wanted to try the on-site tapas restaurant, but didn’t have a chance to. "I am normally not one to complain about anything however, the hallways and room at this hotel smell like mold and smoke. When we walked into the lobby upon arrival a guest was allowing her dog to urinate on the lobby carpet in front of the front desk rep and nothing was said to the guest. Carpet was never cleaned. Our TV had hardly any service during our stay, Maintenance came up once to fix it and the issue kept occurring. Our room key card had to be reset at least twice a day during our stay...

"I’ve stayed at this hotel often. Location location location. This time my room seems to have been renovated. The bathroom specifically. Looks to be mostly new. And despite World Cup soccer and weddings and business meetings the property felt wide open and spacious. Parking is a little more expensive this time. The front desk staff and coffee shop cafe staff are permanently happy and smiling. I will be staying here again."

"The hotel had a strong, unpleasant odor, especially from the carpets, which looked old, dirty, and poorly maintained. Our room had several issues. The telephone was not working, so I couldn’t call the front desk. The bedside lamp was covered in greasy dust, making it obvious the room had not been properly cleaned. The toilet tank also had noticeable orange stains, which looked unsanitary. Because the phone didn’t work, I had to go downstairs to report the problems. I waited nearly five minutes...
