"From start to finish, this was a really nice place to stay. The landlady Jill made me feel very welcome and was kind enough to explain everything for my stay, including suitable dining options nearby. This is a really nice pub, well kept beers and a very stylish bar area. Breakfast was really nice. I would recommend this place for people looking to stay in the area."

"My room was in the coach house, just outside tje doors of the main building. It was very clean with just baked biscuits and Tregothnan tea. A gorgeous view of the garden was welcoming on arrival."

Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in room daily were very welcomed after a day walking on the Moors. An amazing breakfast every morning which was delicious. "Very disappointing stay , We arrived after a 9 hour drive , when we arrived the cottage wasn’t cleaned and no bedding , We rang both Wayne and Karen , we decided to go buy some bedding , on route Karen did ring back to be fair and apologised saying she was told we was due on the 6th , (day of departure,) Went to the pub for an hour and Karen had the cottage ready , I thanked her by tx but no communications back , nothing from Wayne all week , I would of expected a follow up chat asking if...
