"The staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast menu and options were delightful and delicious. My husband recommends the Smoke trout and eggs. we loved the authenticity of our experience. The location was fantastic It was a very short walk to the ocean and we thoroughly enjoyed all the lovely people and their beautiful dogs. Very dog friendly town. "

They were attentive, helpful and very friendly and made me feel welcome. Mack (I assume he was the duty manager) went above and beyond and couldn't have been more helpful. "Superb location and venue. Delightful pub with top cask ale and the food was sublime. Breakfast was fabulous. Staff were highly friendly and attentive. The only negative was the electric shower which was very temperamental and low pressure. A real treat though overall."

"Location is great with lots of free parking options nearby including EV chargers. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and warm. On the downside was the fact that our room was just above the pub and on Saturday night was very loud until midnight and we couldn’t sleep. So make sure to ask for a room on higher floor. Regarding the breakfast one day we had the eggs Benedict which were not good as the hollandaise sauce was too watery, scrambled and bland. The 2nd day we had the English...

"Nice large room, and quiet, although alongside A1. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, and was woken at 1 am by a very noisy group of women thumping and talking loudly down the corridor - not comfortable enough to go back k to sleep again, but the noise was not the fault of the hotel. Generally a good place to stay, nice food and a decent breakfast."

"Classic room bed could do with a topper. Pillows very soft. Didnt feel extractor fan working properly. Had a lot of difficulty shutting the window. Shower pressure not the best bit nice to have a decent sized walk in. Walls between rooms very thin. Generally everything was clean. Nice biscuits. Checkin out was great. Easy parking. Would have liked plug sockets next to the bed rather than behind Loved the lions book shop on site. Olympic room for breakfast was stunning but very cold first thing....
