Nice place. As others have stated, it's a lot of steps as its right on the edge of the old town. Nicely decorated with great shower. No city view though.

Such a memorable, beautiful stay. I’m so glad we chose to stay in the old town. We had early access to the city before peak hours and got to enjoy all the old town had to offer. We stayed 7 full days and were given fresh towels halfway through which was super helpful.

Todo bien, lo malo es que no son honestos y no te dicen que para llegar ahi tienes que subir y bajar 100 escalones cada vez que salgas del hotel, tengan cuidado antes de reservar por el equipaje, Yo lo tuve que cargar!!!

This property was great. Beautiful view from balcony of the old town wall. Room was spacious and comfortable and clean. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked with utensils, etc. even had a dishwasher. BUT. Think long and hard about your stay here. It is. LOOONG AND STEEP walk to and from the room. I had to hire someone to take my big luggage from the rental office (not in building) and I carried my (admittedly heavy) carry-on. I think I almost died. For the way out I paid for both bags to be carried out. This also made any groceries (if I even knew where to find them) completely impractical. The staff couldn’t have been more lovely, and one lady literally ran from the rental office to my room with a new hairdryer because I thought mine was broken. It embarrassingly turned out to be operator error, but she couldn’t have been nicer about it. They also got me in hours early to my room which I was so grateful for. The set up is a little confusing as the rental office is in a different part of the old town and that is where you go to check in. Then you (and possibly luggage porter) are escorted to the room. If you have any issues, you what’s app them. They were always communicative with me, so honestly no complaints at all there. No complaints at all really. Just an awareness of what an old town stay actually means. I would probably do it again, but with smaller suitcases and might try to find something not quite as high up.

This location is perfect for views and accessibility to the road. As all the other reviews probably say, stairs are everywhere in old town Dubrovnik so there's no avoiding it, but it was nice being at the top of the hill near the road. The room and facility was great, but it should be noted that there is no cleaning service. So if you're staying a week like we were, there's no housekeeping to change the sheets, take out the trash, etc and it can get kind of dirty. I also do not recommend the car service. The day of my pickup there were 2 cars due to a mixup, and for my drop off my reservation was given to another company and they had no record of me. I cancelled the service and ended up just using an Uber (which I recommend since it's half the price). Otherwise the staff was friendly, location was great, and the room had great views.

1) Excellent staff; 2) Great “Hardware”; 3) Less than ideal location. 1) Staff: The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a health issue during our stay — a tourist’s nightmare. When we texted the staff, they responded right away. They not only directed us to Dubrovnik general hospital, but also suggested we go to the emergency room directly. That way we could avoid navigating the vast hospital complex and get timely treatment. And we did. We were in and out the hospital with a prescription within 90 minutes, including the time waiting for test results. What a relief !!! 2) Hardware: Everthing was in top condition, and appeared to be newly renovated, including the stove, the fridge, and a dishwasher !!! 3) Location: The property is a vey steep 99 (I counted) steps above the stradun (Main Street). iPhone counts it as 6–7 floors. It poses a major challenge to people with mobility issues and lots of luggages. If you stay on the 3rd floor, add another 30 steps. Silver lining: it’s very quiet.

I liked that it is the old city. I did not like the 100 steep stairs, especially carrying my suitcase. I am 70 years old. This information was not stated online. The guest house fits much younger travelers. There is no common area to use a kitchen. I had a room that had a window, but it was about 12 inches from a wall that blocked any view or daylight. I got my check in info way too late, I was in my Uber taxi to the place, when they informed me that it's better to enter the city through a different gate.

A Remote reception office incurred inconvenience

The room itself was located close to top of the old town and was connected by >130 steps to the main street. The reception office was located at main street, therefore it is quite impossible for us to seek help and/or communicate with the reception office. I

What a lovely place! It's right in the centre of the old town, it has a great view of the city wall and the sea. The room is lovely and very cosy. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time there!

The number of stairs should have been disclosed, especially for an elderly couple. Two of us were there 4 nights and only got 2 tiny shampoo/soaps and 2 rolls of toilet paper. I ended up buying a bar of soap. We were expected to dispose of our own trash. At the bottom of the stairs.

Absolutely loved staying here at this beautiful property! The area was quiet and within walking distance down stairs to a great choice of restaurants as well as the main street for shops & attractions. Staff were so welcoming and helpful with suggestions and letting us leave our bags a few hours on last day. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed this very nice property during our time in Dubrovnik. The shower is excellent and the air conditioning worked quite well. We were in room four on the second floor and it was spacious for two people. The location is up many many stairs, but if you can handle the workout, it is well worth it!

The property itself is nice, lots of steps. We knew this. Just needs a garbage can, utensils for the plates. Pillows only two flat pillows total. Needs a couple of touches, then will be a great place.

Lovely apartment

Beautiful and comfortable apartment in the center of Old Town. Lots of stairs to and from. Check-in is located at a different location than the apartment address. We would stay here again.
