"To be clear, the rooms at POD39 are small. Actually tiny. And, probably one of my new favorites in the area around Grand Central. The room - tiny, sparse, super clean, nice bedding, cool!, dark, quiet. In room shower/toilet/sink also tiny and completely adequate. This is not a room you will hang out in. I did not like that they applied a $30 "required" amenity fee that was not disclosed during booking. With the fee, they provided a $20 gift card to be spent at their café or restaurant.
