"Nice place with very friendly staff. Only stayed the one night as a stopover. Room was comfortable and clean, maybe could do with a refresh but totally fine for a short stay. A little outside Barnard centre, about 20 minute easy walk Had an evening meal in the bar which was really nice and great value for money. The bar area itself was very nice with a relaxed atmosphere, great to unwind. The included breakfast was very good with a variety of choice. If yiur looking for a stopover with breakfast...

"Staff were friendly. Only downside was hot water ran out after one bath. Had to wait over 20 minutes for breakfast but was worth the wait. "

"Really good home cooked food at a good price too but hotel side of the pub was a little expensive considering breakfast wasnt included but it was comfortable and clean and nice for me personally to have memory foam pillows instead of feather filled ones. "

"The oak tree inn was a good choice for a one night stay. The drinks were nice and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was nice and clean. Tv remote was very slow and shower wasn't great. Bed was only a double and prefer king size but was fine for stop over stay"

"This place was amazing, the owners were so friendly, we had a warm welcome and they made sure we was happy at every turn, the food in the Adjacent pub was fantastic value, we had a steak that was very tasty and tried the curry's that were on offer, the breakfast was delicious and plentyful, the room was modern, clean and the bed extremely comfortable, and all thats before you venture out and enjoy the views, just a short drive away your in the middle of the Pennies and can drive for miles...

"Amazing all round really enjoyed our stay "

"Beautiful, spacious and clean accommodation. All staff were very friendly from check-in, waiting staff, housekeeping staff, to grounds maintenance. Even the chef took the time to speak to us after breakfast. The outside area is perfect for young families - there’s a great, enclosed play park and lovely green spaces (with tractors to play on!) for young children to run about. Both the Sunday roast and breakfast were delicious. A brilliant location for exploring a beautiful area of the country."
