"The hotel was very clean and had modern facilities with clean fresh towels and toiletries provided, the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. The bar and dinning area have been refurbished but have been styled in a retro vibe which added to the experience, there was good choice for breakfast which was of a good standard, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and we will certainly be staying there again."

"I had the continental breakfast which was fine but coffee received on my 2nd and 3rd day was not good. The coffee I received on the first day was good. The reception staff only seemed to greet you if you spoke to them. The staff at breakfast were nice and friendly. The room was in need of a makeover and upgrade. The room was dated and there was a smell from the restaurant that emerged into the bathroom. The smell was not pleasant. The tv in the room was poor, the sound seemed to go off a lot and...

"Extra £10 for parking is not really good value as you can park on the road except during the day time. Room was tired and poorly decorated. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good"

"We had a lovely weekend at Arden House. Lucie organised everything with so much attention to detail and care that being there felt like a cosy home. We even received a welcome card and chocolate Easter eggs every time the room was cleaned. The location was also great, just a five-minute walk from the castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend staying there!"

"Great location. Inflexible menu on the day so had to eat elsewhere no accommodation La were made for us. Clean room But many hairs in the bedding inbetween mattress protector or bottom sheet. Attention to detail would be worthwhile and signs on other guests doors to ask them to be mind full not letting doors slam in the morning would be helpful."

We really enjoyed the food at the memorial, as well as our evening meal. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. I would recommend The Black Horse to anyone visiting Climping or the surrounding area."
