"Lovely hotel. Clean room. Exceptionally warm welcome from Micheal. Being shown to the room is a lovely touch, rather than being pointed in the direction of your room. We didn't have breakfast, but will next time. Car parking excellent. We will definitely return to this hotel and hopefully enjoy the amenities, as this visit we were just staying for one night and didn't have time enjoy the splendour of the hotel."

"It's a very old building with only stairs but staff was more than pleasant adverse helpful. They bought our luggage up to our room and then even brought it back down I highly recommend this place."

"The property could definitely do with updating; a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. However, I would describe the property as quirky. Parking limited but safe. Staff go above and beyond, very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Overall 4 stars, just needs a bit of TLC."

"Arrived and checked in quickly. Efficient young chap did all the preliminaries and we headed to our room. Room was in the main building at the front. Large room with plenty of wall lights and lamps as well as spot lights. Lovely sized room and bathroom. Plenty of boiling hot water as soon as the tap was turned. Beds were clean and very comfy. "A lovely hotel and lovely staff. Great location. We are in the bar and food was excellent as well. There was a slight hiccup on our arrival due to a delayed ferry but the staff couldn't do enough for us after that. We will definitely return and recover.mend it to anyone"
