"Nice clean spacious room. Close enough to drive downtown and to the gardens. Would have liked a hand sprayer rather than just a rain head shower, but otherwise all was good."

"This hotel is extremely old. The carpet smell is not good at all. When I checked in requested the shower and tub to be cleaned because of stains. The cleaning staff said it was an old stained that couldn’t be removed. No refrigerator, no microwave and the workout area was down many halls and in the old pool area. Weights were old and rusted. If you have to stay just sleep then it’s okay. I stayed for a week and was unable to exercise not one day. I expected better from Doubletree."

"We checked in on a Wednesday and we stayed until Monday. Be advised that you don’t get housekeeping over the weekend. Did not know this in advance but there is a sticker on the mirror in the room to explain. I had to take out our own garbage and go to the front desk to get clean towels. Housekeeping came on Thursday and we were finally able to get someone to switch out towels and take garbage late on Sunday but we had to ask twice for this service.
The facility is a little tired and the staff...
