"Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back."

"We had the most wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful and the big bath was a perfect treat! Also , the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Meals were delicious and the staff were courteous and friendly. We are already planning a longer stay in this really lovely hotel."

"Nice hotel, an older building with a more modern extension. Professional friendly and service oriented staff everywhere. We just had an anniversary night away and thoroughly enjoyed it. Dinner was excellent and well served and waited on. Our bedroom wasn’t air conditioned and that would have been a bonus as it was in the 30s outside, however the fan in the room was a life saver. Other rooms do have aircon so it’s worth asking."

It was very dog friendly but it would have been nice to have had something available in the room for my dog such as a water bowl etc but that is a minor point"

"I rarely write reviews but I needed to express our extreme disappointment at the standard of the Rose and Crown Hotel in Tonbridge. The external elevations are very tired but when inside it gets far worse. As with the outside, paint is peeling off everywhere and it looks as though no maintenance or upgrading has been carried out for many, many years. However, the worst thing is the lack of cleanliness.
