"Staff are what makes this place. Friendy, helpfull and efficient"

"Just stayed one night as we were walking the Wolds Way. Friendly staff, nice rooms and lovely meal and breakfast"

"All the staff super friendly and the room was very big and clean. The mattress wasn’t great though and the noise travelled through the rooms- people above were quite noisy. Would stay again but the bed could be comfier and hopefully not as noisy people above next time."

"All the rooms are on ground floor and are easily got to through multiple fire doors. Rooms seem clean and well presented"

"Very friendly, welcoming staff. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great choice of food, fresh ingredients and good choice. Highly recommended"

"Father and son stopover after two days of hiking during a long drive home. The Wellington Hotel was exactly what we needed — easy check‑in, no fuss, clean rooms, comfortable beds, hot showers, and a genuinely tasty breakfast that set us up for the rest of the journey. Simple, welcoming, and spot‑on. Highly recommended."
