"Well located and the restaurant was really nice and breakfast lovely. Our king suite was located in the loft and was uncomfortably warm. We mentioed to the staff and they brought up an extra air conditioner. This didn’t help much and was far too noisy to sleep with it, so we didn’t sleep well. It definitely needs it’s own dedicated aircon system. The pool changing area was very tired and in need of some attention."

"The hotel has a modern/hip vibe, starting with the lobby which is centered around the bar that also serves as the check-in desk. This is where breakfast is served. The room was modern, well maintained and functional, but a little tight on space for 2-people with large suitcases. There is no closet or draws (a few coat-hooks) and so plan to live out of your suitcases. It is well located a short distance from the Shambles, Minster and other attractions. "Ideally located for a gentle walk to the city centre. Great views of the river Ouse. Had a very pleasant stay."

"The room was great and we enjoyed the rooftop bar. It’s a convenient location, lots of good local restaurants. Only qualms were the pillows (could not get comfy at all - weird texture) and the noise from the construction next door waking me up around 8am. Overall I’d stay again (but bring my own pillows)."

"This is a basic hotel which was not worth what we paid . There was an unpleasant smell everywhere from the entrance to my room of stale food , bad air freshener and strong cleaning fluid . The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful unlike everyone else in the rest of the city. They were too busy chatting amongst themselves and not interested in guests"

"The Hilton was disappointing. The toilet paper was incredibly thin, the plumbing gurgled, the balcony had no seating so we couldn’t sit and enjoy the view. "The hotel was immaculate great breakfast friendly staff and beds were very comfortable and good size for twin room had a great time recommend this hotel 10 /10"

"Firstly the double room which was alleged to be an upgrade was made up of two single beds being pushed together with two single quilts tucked into the side, this is not classed as a double bed. The Menu is the restaurant was very poor and very limited if you did not like pies you may struggle to get something to eat."

"When checking out our room was different, we are from Arizona and never used anything like this, we had to use the key card to turn on electricity to the room. "Staff are helpful and kind, and the property is very aesthetically pleasing. Super location for getting into the city easily. Though keep in mind it's an old building so the windows don't fully open, there's no AC and the fan they provide does absolutely nothing to cool you down...so with the warm weather be prepared to bake."
