"We stayed in a cabin room. Great view of the Panamint mountains and night sky. The Staff was very nice and helpful. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was also very good. The bartender was very helpful with tips on viewing the night sky! No WiFi or cell service on the camping / cabin rooms side of the road which we were told about well in advance of our stay. Didn’t need connections the solitude & beauty was worth it! Stayed one nite."

"The room needed to be updated and the rug was beyond filthy. We had a fire alarm go off at 5 AM because the batteries had not been changed. The lighting in the room was really bad, and the furniture was worn and dirty. When we informed the staff about the fire alarm, they did not seem overly concerned, although it was eventually fixed.
