"Check in was great. Front desk person was super nice and friendly. Nothing exceeded our expectations, as we knew what we were going to get. However, it was disgusting how the pool furniture was so broken and not able to be sat on. Hot tub was too luke warm to consider, pool was milky white, so eww. You get what you get, but the staff was nice. PRO - bed was very comfortable."

"A/C was loud for size of the room. Toilet wasn’t bolted on one side (?) so it would clunk each time you got up. Very nice remodel and great staff. Easy walk into town for eats and shopping. Love the tour of Alabama Hills at the Mt Whitney portal. "

"The lodging cottages were fantastic. However the management of the overall facility was seriously lacking continuity. At checking in we were informed of all eating facilities on site but not told that reservations were required to the restaurant and the main family friendly dining area (the Buffet ) was not open. When we inquired at the front desk about the buffet they had no idea that it was closed so also have to wonder if they knew that a reservation was required for the main restaurant. So...

"I was Bridgeport for work and selected The Walker River Lodge for convenience. It may look very retro but the room was great. Due to the time of year, I was able to park right in front of my room which made my stay easier. All in all, it was a really nice facility."

"AC worked but was so noisy when it turned on during the night that it woke me up. I thought a big truck had pulled up in front of my room."

"Friendly staff. Great location. These units are individually owned and the unit that we were staying at unit 408 is in desperate need of updating. The furniture was ripped, dirty and in terrible shape and no smart TV. This unit has great views of mountains, but just a view may not worth the discomfort. If we go back we’ll definitely request a different unit. "

"Room was clean and comfortable, staff was so nice and accommodating. It’s a great location to see the Mountain View and if you’re going into Death Valley. "

"Clean room, but the air condition is very loud, and the room has very weak WiFi reception. The receptionist did remind us the weak signal, she did not know what caused the problem."
