"I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!"

"Excellent stay! The only downside is that the “poolside bar” isn’t exactly poolside. It’s a restaurant you have to completely cover up for to go inside and order. Just a tad misleading but beautiful views and excellent location so we were comfortable!"

"This hotel was in a very unsavory part of the city. There were junkies surrounding the hotel (I could guess 5-10 within a block at any given time). The front desk assured me a two block walk to the quick mart was safe but on my way I experienced several homeless aggressive experiences. Walking in the middle of the busy road, screaming at each other, etc. but then when I got to the quick mart the doors were locked. You could only purchase items from a window. "The room was clean and stocked with multiple, fluffy bath towels! The staff was pleasant and helpful, answering questions about the area. A great location near the theater district and subway!"

"Paid over USD 450 for a night which is equivalent to the quality and standard for Quality Inn which cost USD 110 a night. The room and bed is so so and not comfortable. Very thin mattress and pillows. Hard to sleep. Do not book this Hyatt Regency if you don’t need to stay in the Chinatown area. I do not recommend this hotel. I give it a two stars."
