"Was ok for the money."

"Really liked the location and quality of the hotel! Loads of green areas around for walks, kids go run around and kick about! The hotel is expansive, very generous rooms and decent food! Not much variety on the menu in the restaurant and including breakfast if you don’t eat pork you have limited options The only point of improvement would be restaurant service, we waited for over an hour for our dinner and having a toddler and a new born it wasn’t a good experience we saw many tables served...

"The only issue we had was there was no one to check us in, The contact numbers we had no one answered. We actually felt like we were trespassing. After driving around for an hour someone finally returned our call & messages and arranged to meet us. We had almost given up & were going to go home. Having said that we ended up having a really enjoyable stay :)"

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"We stayed for 1 night on our way to a MSV trackday at Donnington Park. Our room was on the first floor overlooking the River Trent. The location was great. Parking was fine and overall a pleasant stay. We chose to eat in the restaurant - unfortunately too few staff meant service was not great. The Sunday roast was ok but also not great. "

"A lovely little B&B. Perry was wonderful. Very friendly and cooked us a gorgeous breakfast before we left. Clean and tidy and not far from Southwell racecourse (about 7 miles). Would recommend."

"Didn't have breakfast this time it was 4.30 not a lot to choose from not a continental also no one about as partner was gluton free and dairy. Previous stay was good as we had breakfast, gluton free and soya milk was there then after 6.00 lots to choose from."

"Great location to and from the airport. Rooms are clean. Bathroom is a bit dated. Has all the facilities you need. Staff are absolutely amazing and really helpful. "
