"The whole stay was underwhelming
-Poor check-in experience
-Spa very average ok massage but no way is the price justified I booked for our anniversary not worrying about the price thought it would be special it wasn’t had a better massage at local Thai shop for £60
- Bar poor choice beers local unheard of stuff tasted of nothing want him and tonic expected at least a final 5 Star hotel to have good tonic ie fevertree or Schweppes nope some london essence stuff nothing like tonic water

"Arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm as checkin was not until 3pm we sat in the bar and waited. Looking around the staff seemed flustered, stressed and any requests felt like a bit too much trouble. At 3pm went to check in and was told the room was still not ready. Only then were we allowed to use the facilities I.e outdoor pool.(would it have been too much trouble to offer this at 1:30pm?) we were told they would find us when the room was ready.
At 6pm still no sign of staff so went to reception...

"If you're under 60 I don't recommend this hotel. I think they need to make it more obvious that its catered to over 60s mainly."

"Amazing stay, everyone and everything was exceptional. The hotel has a history of opulence and luxury, and it did not disappoint, and the staff are the real heartbeat of this iconic hotel. "Rosewood delivers where it matters most: service.
The staff’s warmth, professionalism, and responsiveness were exceptional from beginning to end. I was granted an incredibly early check-in and was already in my room before 11 AM, despite standard check-in being at 3 PM. After a long journey, that alone set the tone for a great stay.
The room was spacious and very comfortable, although the bathroom felt surprisingly compact for a hotel in this category. Small details like having the hairdryer...
