"Beautiful room at the top floor with an incredible view of the bosphorus. Desk staff were uniformly wonderful and helpful. My wife complained that the air-conditioning was blowing on her and they came and changed the orientation of the ceiling. Grid to make it blow in different direction. Also, the breakfast was varied and delicious. Only two downsides: don’t use their service to do laundry, it’s expensive and badly done. Also our toilet seat broke, and the manager was obnoxious and wanted us to pay for it. The lovely woman at the front desk, however, said that that’s ridiculous and didn’t charge us.."

"We had a room facing the waterfront on the 8th floor and the views were phenomenal. Only one other room on that floor, with little noise between neighbours, although you could hear them in the hallway, that’s expected. As other reviews stated this hotel is on a busy road and honking and noise is common, if that bothers you just bring earplugs or you kind of just get used to it. We would stay here again, it’s easy to get around via walking or tram or metro. Thanks!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at Mest Hotel Istanbul and would highly recommend it. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the historic area and within walking distance of so many of Istanbul’s main attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and very clean, while still keeping its lovely traditional character. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The views from the breakfast terrace were absolutely stunning and made the mornings even more enjoyable. The staff were all extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and their hospitality really made a difference. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at Mest Hotel again when we return to Istanbul. A fantastic hotel in a brilliant location — 5 stars from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Excellent area to get around and walk everywhere. Mustafa was amazing! So kind and helpful. All of the staff, actually, Yigit helped us make reservations at a local hamam and they even walked me across the street and waited with me to get a cab the first night. The room was so spacious and clean"
