"Afternoon Valet guy was the best! Very nice gentleman, very helpful. The day shift girls could learn a thing or 2 about customer service from him. The place was cute and very welcoming. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Def will be coming back!"

"We LOVED this hotel. Character meets location. The staff were all SO friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and well updated for a building over 100 years old (ie. enough plugs, efficient AC). Obviously, there are quirks with such an old building (stairs, less water pressure, etc.), but worth it for the charm. Expect a noisier experience with this location but again, so worth it to be situated in the very heart of Newport beach life. We LOVED it! Breakfast is great, rooftop patio...

"If you are booking this hotel specifically for the parking to be close proximity to the beach it is fantastic! The hotel was nice, large Roku tvs and the Wi-Fi was great. We mainly used the hotel just for sleeping and showering and it did its job. The beds were comfy (I don't like a super firm bed) and a million pillows which is always appreciated. But nothing beats the parking. Check in was smooth and fast and we weren't bothered the whole weekend. I saw that they had a breakfast but went down...

"Nice hotel. The desk staff were very friendly and great to deal with. There was a bar available, though we didn't take advantage of it. I think it was open Monday-Saturday evenings, though. We had a room with two double beds, and it had a refrigerator an additional sink."
