"Overall beautiful hotel and prime spot for our trip. We had spent the night in a room next to a screaming newborn and were moved. There was quite a delay in our move. They also moved us to a room where a structural beam took up a good chunk of our space. "

"The hotel was under renovation, and the facilities advertised, such as the swimming pool and gym, were closed. They were offering passes for YMCA; however, YMCA was closed on Sunday when I needed it. There was no service elevator, so the guests were constantly exposed to the smell of construction chemicals whenever a construction worker had to reach the floor. The coffee maker was broken on the first day, and I could not make my morning coffee until it was replaced the next day. The shower had insufficient pressure. The hotel manager was nice and offered a 20 dollars coupon to the restaurant and a bonus on the Marriot rewards program; however, those compensations did not fully compensate me for being late to my conference. "

"While the room was spacious, the gym had broken equipment and the pool was too small and filled with kids. Breakfast is decent and the woman who cleaned the area gets 5 stars, but I was very disappointed that the staff at the front desk was not courteous upon check-in and would not offer a refund of a night's stay even though I'm a "valued" member of their rewards program. THE POWER WENT OUT!! I was fortunate to get on a rescheduled flight home, so Southwest for the win. (I was on the 5th floor and it was becoming increasingly more humid with thunderstorms and a tornado warning.) I was told to contact Expedia directly,, so here is your review!"
