"The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose...

"Great location with natural beauty all around. Very friendly and welcoming host and staff. The house was very well built and and maintained - simple, down-to-earth, but highly functional and comfortable. Very delicious breakfast and morning scenery to start the day. "

"Property is fantastic beautiful views and view of small waterfall. Walk around property and enjoy the nature, river, waterfall. Property manager on site was super friendly and helpful. Three story type house. Kids loved the bunk at the top. Easy walk to town for food and groceries. We stopped here between drive from SJO and La fortune and stayed one night then went to blue falls great stop!! "

"Everything went well. The air conditioning worked and a buffet breakfast was available. However, I was there when a youth tour was there and they ate most of some of the dishes and additional wasn't put out until they finished breakfast so there was not much when I arrived. My bad for not asking for more. The grounds were very beautiful and quiet."

"Cindy, the owner, was an excellent host. Very proactively engaged in our experience from the day we booked. The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. She also arranged activities for us, which was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and large, with an outside deck.
