Top Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area Hotel Reviews
Hampton Inn & Suites La Grande, Or
10/10 Excellent
"Everything about this stay was good. The location is very convenient, just off the freeway, yet the rooms were quiet and peaceful. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful, and quick. Any of the staff we saw were very friendly and always said hello. The room was clean and everything in the room worked. It was quiet and very comfortable. The pool was clean and warm, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. I will gladly stay here again."
"Booked through expedia.
Was placed in a room on the ground floor next to a mechanical room that had an extremely noisy machine running. Asked for a change of room and the staff said you have to go back to expedia.
It appeared that the staff knew there was a problem with that room. After demanding to speak to the manager , who wasn't available, i stated I'd be willing to pay more et ceterawho, the staff finally agreed to give us a different room. Turn out the room was actually less expensive, and the staff said the reason that they didn't offer another room is because it wasn't the same type of room we had reserved. They're logic made no sense. Very young staff member with no backup manager , etc."
"Friendly Staff. The bathroom facuet heads (we rented two rooms) need updating , they spray small intense streams of water that make a mess. AC worked good, seemed clean enough"
"This facility was marginal at best. It is an older facility and needs some upgrades. The room was clean, but, there was no accent chair in the room for resting, there were 2 "hard back kitchen table" type chairs in the room. The mid size refrigerator was noisy, the sink faucet water pressure was non-existent, the ice maker did not work and the extra lock on the door was broken. However, the breakfast for this type of facility was better than most."
"I planned to work from my hotel room and the desk setup for atrocious very uncomfortable but everything else was fine. Not the hotel for good work station in the room but everything else was just great."
