"The property is older and could use some updating. Everything is very clean. Our shower spout wasn’t working and they came and fixed it the next day. Breakfast was okay. You couldn’t beat the price. Our room darkening curtains didn’t cover the window. Those never got fixed."

"I've visited Encinitas many times over the years, but staying at the Inn at Moonlight Beach was a uniquely uplifting experience. It felt like a stay at an ashram: peaceful, meditative, and deeply rejuvenating. The details make all the difference. Upon arrival, a small selection of dried fruit with herbs from the inn's own garden and a pot of hot herbal tea were waiting in the room. The room itself was spacious, with an outdoor space facing the garden, which is lit at night with a soft, almost surreal glow. Everything is thoughtfully designed to make you feel welcome and a world away from the hustle of the outside world."
