"I stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. There was no cleaning done to Room #301. I had to ask for towels and bath mats daily. One of the electric outlets had black burn marks on it. We didn't touch it. We had to empty our bedroom/bathroom trash daily. No one came to the room at all. There was no bed linen change either. The room was clean when we got there. "As long as you know that this is an older hotel so you will see the wear everywhere then you'll enjoy your stay. There is no food option at the hotel so you'll definitely have to travel into town for that. The pool was fine. The room was clean. If you want an inexpensive stay for a few days then you'll be just fine here. Also, it's within walking distance to the airport so unless you have alot of bags DON'T waste money on a taxi. "Be sure to have breakfast; it is delicious, nutritious, and the view is awe-inspiring. I had several cups of the ginger, mint lemonade- wow! I didn’t spend much time in my room. But it was nice to come back to a clean one. Staff are very friendly! One could not ask for more and get it."

"We enjoyed our recent stay at Sapphire Beach Resort. The facilities were clean and well kept, the resort staff were very helpful in giving us tips of how to navigate the island, and our host was very responsive when we had an issue with the a/c not cooling properly. This location is a close ride to the Red Hook ferry, and the snorkeling on the little reef was great!"

"We loved it. The property was gorgeous, super clean. We stayed in building 12 and walked the stairs to it. Love how often the golf carts came around but we didn’t mind walking. I see a lot complain that it isn’t a walkable area, it completely is unless you struggle with walking. Coffee shop was good! Liked the lawn games."

"The St John Inn is a hidden gem. We were so lucky to have come across it. The reviews were spot on and everyone went out of their way to make us comfortable and enjoy our time in St John. I can’t say enough about how special and quaint the Inn was. 5 stars for us!"

"It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. I dont know if someone left the front door open allowing the rain water to come in during the storm but we would’ve enjoyed our trip better if we didn’t get sick every time we were in the house.
