"There was no breakfast scheduled. They did not offer an explanation. They hosted a prom on Saturday evening and the guests were basically ignored during the evening and morning after. The food was not appetizing!! The rooms were clean, however, we realized that the sliding door would not lock. Maintenance came to take a look nonchalantly and left without a solution. There was no security latch on the front door as well. We packed up to leave and was offered another room. That room was freezing...

As a senior, this facility was very remote when touring the island and driving on the left side of the road was challenging at times. Also, the elevator doesn't work so getting to the other levels was challenging. Julie, the manager went out of her way to accommodate us."

"From the time we booked to checkout, the experience was absolutely excellent. Delia ensured we had everything we needed even before we areived. During our stay Melissa, Angela, Paula and I know I'm leaving someone out provided a great bar and good experience. We were there during a slower time so it felt like we had a private resort. The beach is beautiful. We will definitely choose to stay there again on our next trip."

"Convenient location. Many nearby restaurants and shops. However, will need car to go to best beaches but street parking was found every night. Overall a nice property to stay and take advantage of what downtown Christiansted has to offer. The town does have a couple of homeless individuals lurking around and that may make one feel a little bit exposed. Nevertheless, property is gated and only accessible with key cards. "Truly, this property is stunning. I can't imagine it is possible to have a room with a bigger balcony or better view anywhere else on St. Croix. For privacy, The Waves gets an A++ and the onsite restaurant, AMA, is spectacular. That being said, after our initial awe, we did run into some frustrations. Neither the restaurant nor the bar on property are open daily. (Thankfully the nearby Landing Bar and Off the Wall serve great food!) There is really no place to hangout onsite other than your...
