"The Derby is a boutique hotel with high end decor and finishings. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to have our room ready prior to the standard check in time. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The room size was smaller than I expected for a King Suite. The small window and slanted ceilings made it seem even smaller. A bench or luggage rack would’ve been helpful as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"Great modern boutique hotel with beautiful design and features. Clean, smells brand new still and centrally located. Front desk staff was very friendly and staffed 24 hours. Bed was comfortable, blackout blinds effective, kitchen as described, and towels large and clean. My only complaint is that the so-called fitness centre is not really that at all. "Keep in mind they don’t clean or make the bed daily though they empty the trash and provide new towels. Overall it was OK but not great. The folks at the front desk were nice, but seemed disorganized. Our room keys stopped working 4 times during our week long stay and I was told "the colleagues forgot you are staying a week." OK- that explains once, but why did it happen every day? Nothing like coming back after long day sightseeing with sore feet to schlep upstairs and discover your room keys...

"Had a great stay, only there for one night as needed a stopover. Property had great amenities and room was very clean, staff happy to help. Used the gym facilities, great for a short workout.
