"The staff was accommodating to hold our bags before and after check in and check out. They cleaned our room nicely after the first day. They provided various amenities including an extra set of bedding, toiletries, silverware, dining set, ice, and water with fruit. Overall, nice stay for two nights."

"Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there."

"First time visit at this hotel and loved it from the moment we walked through the door. All of the staff were very helpful (had problems with the airconditioning after a couple of days, but were helped within minutes by being moved to another room). Special shout out to Douglas, who made us feel welcome from the very first second. He couldn't be any more friendly."

"it was a good experience. just the location but bit of a issue - a lot of construction was going around when we went. the vicinity is not very clean. but the hotel was good. Breakfast options could have been better."

"Wrong charges compared to in text messages/ email, been trying to contact the hotel regarding final receipt keep getting different times from the front desk about when manager is available. Disappointing "

"The hotel itself is not bad, but the surrounding area is like in the middle of a construction site. People are paving roads right outside of my window at 10:30pm and I can smell the smoke and feel the vibration. You can also hear the loud train horns in the middle of the night. The hotel is clean and affordable, staff is friendly."

"For what it was, a name brand hotel in a cheaper part of NYC, it was ok. Totally sucks that it has a parking lot and guests still had to pay 40 a day for parking. So if you’re planning a stay add 40 bucks to your stay per day. Breakfast was nice and free, not much seating though. Rooms were outdated, small, dark and our TV kept breaking. If you just need a place to rest your head at about 250 a night with parking… it’s not so bad. I would not pay full price and stay there. That’s for sure."
