"After a very lengthy research on hotels, we decided to book this hotel and we were not disappointed. This is a very beautiful hotel in a very central convenient location. Hotel itself is beautiful but it is the staff that made our stay exceptional. Front desk staff are amazing , from the time we checked in and checked out, they took very good care of us. They helped us with all our questions and provided multiple recommendations. Definitely recommend this place when you are in Lisbon 10/10. "

"The service provided by the restaurant and bar staff was exceptional. The food was incredible, so fresh. Breakfast should not be missed and please get an omelette. We had dinner or dessert every night in the restaurant because it was so good. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. Even though the hotel is in the city, it was extremely quiet."

"Casa Balthazar was fantastic. We stayed in 6 apartments or hotels over a 2 1/2 week vacation and Casa Balthazar was the best. We tend to book higher end stays. Once you find this boutique hotel, you will walk into a lovely isolated place. The staff were so friendly and the rooms were great. Breakfast was so good - don’t skip the Pastel De Nata!! The hotel is an easy walk to the sites, restaurants and shopping. We would stay again when we come back!"

"They said we didn't have a reservation when we went to check in and that they didn't have any openings. We spent 4 hours trying to find another place last minute even though we had booked this months in advance. We had all tours pick up point near this hotel and had to Uber DAILY"

"Beautiful hotel with a surprise feature. They have access to the rooftop bar on the hotel next to them. Make sure you go up there one evening to watch the sunset over the city. There now is a subway line that goes by the hotel that can affect some of the rooms. If you are a light sleeper, request a room that isn’t affected. I consider myself a light sleeper and didn’t have any problems sleeping with occasional subway noise, but others may. The staff are very helpful with directions and...

"The location was great. But lobby was tonight and our room was located in another building close by. Room had a nice bored. But was noisy with music until 11:15 pm. It served our needs for a two night stay. The staff was friendly and stored our luggage until mid afternoon even though we checked out in the morning. I would definitely consider staying here again. "

"The staff were exceptional friendly and multi-lingual. There are free light snacks and drinks in the lobby. The breakfast staff was also friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and simple. Our room was pristine and clean. House keeping was on the spot every morning. The hotel is in prime location for everything (shopping, food, tours).
