"I was concerned about booking a hotel at this price but prior reviews said it was clean. It was very clean, convenient, and a nice staff. The pool is closed permanently but the room was well equipped and a convenient location for a night or two. It was very quiet during our one night stay. We used it as a place to extend our trip since we could not check in to our condo until the next day. Worked out great for us! Would do that again. "

"We had an amazing stay at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island! The resort was beautiful, clean, and relaxing from the moment we arrived. The grounds were gorgeous. We spent most our time in the pool adults only area, which was spa like. Luxury feel & perfect. Extremely comfortable lounge chairs with adding and lounge towels fresh. Covered canopies available for purchase and comfortable chairs on the tanning ledge in the water. Spa music. They serve you food and drinks. Very large hot tub. ...

"The resort had a location that can't be beat, near the center of the island and walkable to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. It was clean but worn (most hotels along the water will be). It's hard to keep the humidity out but the room gave it a darn good try. We fell for the upsell of renting chairs from the Tiki Hut, but didn't realize they were set between the tiki bar and the volleyball court but it turned out to be for the best since no alcohol allowed on the beach.
