Your better off taking the stairs if you don't want to wait an hour for the elevators the floors in all the water areas were slippery and disgusting inside area supposed to be heated but last two days of our stay were very cold water cold we ended up utilizing the jacuzzi most of the time because everywhere else was cold The jacuzzi also was not that hot and with it raining outside the inside of the resort should have...

"The 240 year old Birchwood Inn was a wonderful experience, quiet, quaint, and relaxing. The owner, Amy, is very welcoming and professional."

"First room assigned to me wreaked of cigarettes smoke. When I told the front desk, they moved me to a new room immediately. This is a very comfortable, quiet hotel. Good bedding and AC and I slept great there for 4 nights, a long weekend. The breakfast was great, hot and varied every day. There was plenty of parking close to the front lobby. My only complaint was that the coffee was terrible. But no problem because there is a Dunkin Donuts right next door. 😁"

"The place was dirty with stained carpets. The room had poor lighting, no closet, no place to set your bags down, and smelled like pot. They did have coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby."

"Time for a make over. Property and hotel getting old, it would certainly be a good idea for a major make over. Beds are comfy, room and bath very clean, but that bathroom is small and the door doesn’t help. We’d stay again, family in the area, it just needs some changes and refreshing."

"My mother & I stayed here for 1 night out of our 3 night stay. The motel was dingey and not clean at all. We checked in at 11pm after a long drive from Nova Scotia to a bathroom that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was hair in the corners of the file on the floor, black mold on the ceilings and the shower curtain had pink mold along the lining. I intended to take pictures, but when we left for the day the next morning, someone did come in and clean, and must've FINALLY...

"Booking through Expedia did not offer the same customer service friendly staff as you would booking directly with the hotel. Once the check in issue was resolved, my stay was good. Breakfast buffet was a highlight for our family needs. Would recommend!"

"I like the convenience of the property; it's where I usually choose to stay. It's located right off 495 and pretty close to I-90; central to a lot of fun stuff."
