"The front desk employee checking us in was extremely rude and cold. Didn’t explain anything. Room was disgustingly dirty- bathroom floor had hairs and dirty footsteps. Room smelled like mold. Absolutely no phone service and wifi was non existent. Elevators wouldn’t work properly. When we checked out earlier than what we paid for, no one asked why, if there’s anything they can do or anything. And anytime I said anything, they said we can’t do anything, you booked through a 3rd party"

"did not like that I found hair in the shower, and there were not enough towels. I called the front desk to ask for more towels for my children, and they told me they would send them right away, but more than an hour passed and nothing arrived. I called again, and they told me I had to go pick them up at the front desk. I definitely will not return to this hotel. The rooms are cleaned every two days, one of the pillows did not have a pillowcase, and our experience was not good."

"The only complaint is that the TV did not work correctly, but we didn't go there to watch TV so it was not really an issue. The front desk staff did what they could to help with that problem. All of the staff from the front desk, dining staff, and housekeeping were all very pleasant and helpful. The room and hotel were clean. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again."

"At first glance it looked clean but after the first night I woke up with a bunch of bug bites. The next day I closely inspected the room and there was some staining that looked to be from bed bugs on the sheets. They upgraded us on arrival but the spa tub in the room only half the jets worked and the steam shower hardly worked too. My husband went to buy water from the front desk at one point and one of the workers was rude to him. Wouldn’t go again."

"There was no water in the pool. There was a $11.00 charge for breakfast oer person. We didn't eat there that morning. Free coffee was offered so I had one cup before I checked out. There was no.cable offered on the in room tvs... you needed to use apps with your sign information. I will not do that."

"They dont have free breakfast so be warned. The AC was terrible. When it was hot outside it was hot in the room. When it was cold outside, same thing. They didn’t bring me any amenities or clean my room the first two days. They told me $300 deposit for four nights (75/night) although I heard the guests in front of me in line were told only 55/night. Not sure why but that was upsetting"

"This was our first time in Chicago. My sister and I saw this Best Western as a convenient choice for the Pokemon GO! Fest of 2026. Wow, what a beautiful building! Very safe too. The lot is lit so brightly and is next to a small banquet hall so we weren’t scared about coming back to the room very late. The room was beautiful; comfy sheets, updated TV and nice amenities. The staff were so friendly to us upon check-in and held our bags both at check-in and check-out so we could go explore the city...
