"We travel a lot and this is one of the nicest places we’ve ever visited. As in most places in Tuscany, the countryside is beautiful. La torre makes it even more so. Carefully renovated by the amazing owners, Scott & Angus, the rooms, pool, garden and wine yard is perfect for a getaway. When we booked we didn’t know that we would experience a movie night under the Tuscan stars with wine and a fully stocked picnic basket. Or a pizza night (with delicious starters and dessert) next to the barn....

"We hebben 4 nachten geslapen bij dit verblijf. Het was heerlijk! De locatie is fantastisch gelegen, bovenop een berg. Houd er rekening mee dat een auto absoluut noodzakelijk is om de locatie te bereiken. De eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk, geïnteresseerd en behulpzaam. Het uitzicht vanaf het zwembad is prachtig. Een voorrecht om met dat uitzicht heerlijk te ontbijten!"

"This is a perfect Tuscan retreat in the beautiful hills only 45 min. from Firenze. "We were able to follow GPS to the location with no problem. It is a long narrow road to the house and is lined with olive trees. When we arrived, we were met by the owner. We said we were there to check in. She asked if we booked with Expedia and then mentioned our names. We were out of the office area yet she knew who we were. We were the only guest. She explained later they are usually closed for the season but allowed our reservation to continue as she had not removed it from Expedia. The...
