The Hotel is near a lot of stuff. Excellent location. Breakfast was great. The only negative is that there were so so many stairs to get into Hotel. That was so horrible. Other then that it was great.

Our kind host Daniel met us at the door and helped with the luggage. The room was lovely and quiet and in a perfect location, busy and close to the main piazza. Florence is a very walkable city. We felt very safe. Breakfast was served just outside our room, in a cozy sitting area. We chose what we wanted the night before, and were treated to yogurt with fruit and granola, croissants, coffee and tea, juice, and ham and cheese omelets. We loved our stay. Note: there are a lot of stairs, so it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Our hosts were the highlight of our stay, as they were so kind and made us feel so welcome. The room itself (Honeymoon suite) was beautiful, with some exposed stone, but with modern finishings. Lounging in the room was almost as good as exploring the city! Breakfast was also fabulous, prepared with care. There are a few flights of stairs to the property but the hosts are willing to help bring bags up. Location couldn't be better.

Beautiful hotel with an incredibly polite and welcoming staff. The receptionist, Robbie (Rebecca), was outstanding and truly made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, and if you book a water-view room with the mountains in the background, the scenery is absolutely surreal. Although the hotel is located directly across from the train station and you can hear the trains, it didn’t bother my wife or me at all—the breathtaking setting more than made up for it. I would absolutely come back and stay again without hesitation. Adam G

AC was originally on winter mode when we arrived. With no window in the room, it was quite stuffy/muggy. The staff was lovely in that they spent almost 2 hours trying to figure it out and get it working.

One of the coolest places I ever had the pleasure of staying at!! I’d give 10 stars if I could. Excellent location!! Extremely clean and wonderful staff!! A 14th century structure with all the best modern upgrades! Located right on the main street and about a 2 minute walk from the duomo - yet, with huge rock walls and double-pane windows, we didn’t hear any of the crowd below. Step out the door and you have shopping, cafes and restaurants within steps!! The host was super nice, professional and so accommodating. Comfy bed and amazing upgraded bathroom!! I dig the big shower - only shower I’ve experienced which is better than mine at home! If I’m ever lucky enough to return to Florence, I’ll definitely stay here again!! Arrivederci!

Hotel was okay. Last night there they failed to service the room so had to make due. Seems someone came in and took the room AC controls and left a key in the light control switch so the thought the room was occupied even thought they knew we left as we had requested just a coffee that morning since we were missing breakfast time due to a timed entry at a museum. No front desk so luckily they answered the phone when we got back early evening and drove over to provide the towels and replaced the ac remote control 30 minutes later. But no soap, water, coffee and had clean up ourselves that night. Breakfast when we got it was a highlight and overall room was fine but disappointed they did not accommodate us in anyway for the failed service the last night. Sort of impacted getting clean for a last night dinner and wasted some time but overall is was okay.

Loved this little hotel! The staff were so kind and accommodating! Loved the breakfast, the room was adorable and felt so big with large vaulted ceilings. We stayed in 5 cities on our trip and this was by far our favorite hotel. Couldn't pick a better location either!!
