The hotel was in a great location - close to all sites - clean / older / washroom /shower great.
Going into the property was a little different ! Very secure but a tad spooky !!
Once settled in become more comfortable.
The noise during the middle of the night from the corridor would wake me up .
The housekeeper was very pleasant and accommodating to your needs .
Overall 6/10
Gulia & Guissepe were so friendly and accommodating during our check in and stay. Great hidden gem as the property asked all to keep silence; great to have a quiet sanctuary away from the hubbub of city life! Nice view from our #5.
A really lovely room. We stayed in room 7, a large room overlooking the garden and river. A beautiful fresco on the ceiling and a giant comfortable bed.
Lovely large doors and original shutters inside and out of window. Keep the windows closed though - even mid March the mosquito got a good feed on the first night.
Bathroom basic but functional and certainly adequate for our needs.
The staff were super friendly - especially the guy with the cute Jack Russel dog.
The rooms at the front of the hotel might have a more noise from the bars opposite but our room was really peaceful all through the day and night.
Getting in on arrival was novel and not well explained before- wait for someone to go though the big automatic door. Then push open the electric gate while lock is still inactive. Go up the stairs - and the small brass plaque on the door is the first indication you are in the right place.
I would definitely recommend room 7 to friends going to Florence.
My partner and I stayed in this room while in Florence for a few days. Our room was very large and had a very comfortable bed closet seating area and a bathroom. That was very big. We loved our overhead shower. The bathroom had a beautiful window out to the courtyard. The building is very beautiful on the inside and inside the rooms. Do you feel like you have privacy while also hearing the city. Our room was so beautiful that we barely wanted to leave because we enjoyed being there so much. The hotel was so central that we were able to come and go regularly. We took beautiful photos inside our room, and we were truly so happy that we got that room. It almost made our entire trip all over northern Italy. This hotel was worth it for the price. We will definitely be visiting Florence again, and we will be choosing this hotel. I highly recommend this place. The service is fantastic. you can’t beat the location.
The room was clean and beautiful. It was so close to the Ponte Vecchio. Not as touristy as the other side of the bridge which is great because it is quiet! But still so many restaurants and shops to explore.
beautiful, clean, updated room. Extremely nice and friendly staff. Great area, walking distance to main attractions but in a quiter area, away from the crowds. Theres cafes and bars on the street. Also a food store walking distance. Definitely my favorite spot in all of italy
There is extremely loud renovation going on one floor above - do not book this hotel if you wish to sleep after 9am/take naps during the day. I would have skipped this hotel but unfortunately no one informed me about this.
Muito bem situado, perto de tudo. Extremamente limpo e aconchegante, com decoração equilibrada entre passado e tempos atuais, nos sentimos muito confortáveis.
E obrigada Giuliapor sua simpatia e atendimento impecáveis.
The room was amazing! (Room 4) It was huge and had a mural on the ceiling, a chandelier, a posh marble bathroom, and overlooked the street. Everthing was great, but...there is are a couple of bar/nightclubs, below the room and across the street. At nighttime, you could hear the music playing until 2 a.m. or so. I bring earplugs when i travel, so it didn't bother me, and we picked up some for my spouse after the first night so it wasn't really an issue. (May not be an issue for those facing the garden) Overall it was a great experience, with just that one little thing being slightly annoying, but easily remedied.
I just loved this hotel! It was beautiful, and very well restored. The people running it were very kind and helpful!
We would love to return again! My room number 1 was very peaceful, no street noise at all.
The B&B is GORGEOUS - they've done an excellent job renovating the space. The breakfast was delicious and service was well delivered.
Two things that would up the service would be to replace the towels and pillows to something more plush. I found the towels to be a bit cheap, thin & rough and the pillows to be cheap and lumpy!
Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again....
I had a GREAT experience at this hotel. Everything was more than perfect. Work Team extremely polite and helpful. The decoration, furnitures, style, everything so perfect that I want to come back to this hotel for sure. I strongly recommend it!!!!
This place is beautiful! The room was very spacious. I definitely felt as though I had stepped back in time.

Not the most flattering room, entrance, accessibility, lobby, etc. kind man who helped us. But it was so odd, didn’t see anyone else there. Room was massive and open, but not my ideal type of hotel room. I’m sure for many they like this type of place, but for me I need more of a real hotel look and feel and energy.
