"Coffee machine down, staff tried to fix it "

"If you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. When we checked in the front desk person warned us we will hear fog warning sound every 8 SECONDS. Yes every 8 seconds. He offered the earplugs or move the room to the front, but nothing helped I stayed up all night counting 8 seconds and the warning sound. I did not see this mentioned on the website, I think Expedia should warn the customers. Breakfast was nothing to desire. Standard waffle, scramble egg, orange, and few other items."

"We had to leave early and it was impossible to get a hold of a manger onsite or by phone. Also, one day when we are were out visiting, someone came into our room and packed all our stuff up like we were getting kicked out. Not cleaning service as they don't have it. We still had one more night's stay. All of our toiletries and food was thrown into our laundry bag and had to be thrown out. No explanation. Terrible experience."

"Yes the room was clean, had lots of towels but it smelled like cigarettes and I already had a sinus headache so this was an awful situation. I did not feel safe."

"Bed was uncomfortable & crooked but sheets clean, towels provided were small, old & hard but again, at least they were clean. Shower lukewarm, soap & shampoo cheapest stuff you could provide, carpet & furnishings very old outdated , curtains had holes. $120 I expect more but it is summer in Crescent City so gouging expected, front desk lady was very nice 😊"

"We booked for two nights during our trip to the Redwoods. The location was convenient and the hotel was quiet. The staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. Unfortunately, the property itself was disappointing. The room showed its age, with worn furnishings and signs of deferred maintenance. There were visible traces of mold in the shower, which was concerning. The overall condition of the hotel felt dated and not particularly well maintained. The atmosphere around the property also...

"Everything was virtual assistant. It was very annoying because when we had problem no one was able to fix because no one was available. Probably won’t stay again"
